How to manage Email Configuration?

On the Mail Booster’s Navigation Panel, select Email Configuration.

Once you click on “Email Configuration”, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.

We are going to introduce the three primary steps to configure your email account.

The first step would be configuring Basic Info.

Here is the description of each control on the page.

From Name Configuration : If you would like to override the pre-configured name which will be used while sending Emails, then you would need to choose “Override” from the drop down and vice-versa.

From Name : The “From Name” is the inbox field that tells your recipient who sent the messages. If you would like to override pre-configured From Name, then you would need to provide name in the inbox field.

From Email Configuration : If you would like to override your pre-configured Email Address which will be used while sending Emails, then you would need to choose “Override” from the drop down and vice-versa.

From Email : The “From Email” is the inbox field that tells your recipient from which Email Address, messages are coming. If you would like to override pre-configured From Email, then you would need to provide an Email Address in the inbox field.

Once everything is being setup, you would need to click on “Next Step” button located at the bottom of the page to proceed further.

After clicking on the Next Step Button, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.

Here is the description of each control on this page.

Email Address : In this field, you would need to provide a valid Email Address from which you would like to send Emails.

Reply To : This inbox field defines the Email Address that is automatically inserted into “Reply To” field when a user replies to an email message.

CC : In this field, you would need to provide valid CC Email Address.

BCC : In this field, you would need to provide valid BCC Email Address.

Mailer Type : In this field, you would need to choose a specific option for Mailer Type. If you would like to send an Email via SMTP mailer, then you would need to choose “Send Email via SMTP” from the drop down or you could use “PHP mail() Function”.

Here is the description of each control when you would choose “Send Email via SMTP”.

SMTP Host : If you would like to send an Email via different host, then you would need to provide that specific host name like “smtp.gmail.com” in the inbox field.

Encryption : In this field, you would need to choose a specific option for Encryption. If you would like to send an Email with TLS encryption, then you would need to choose “Use TLS Encryption” from the drop down or you could use SSL Encryption. For that you would need to choose “Use SSL Encryption” from the drop down.

If you would like to send an Email without encryption, then you would need to choose “No Encryption” from the drop down.

SMTP Port : In this field, you would need to provide a valid SMTP Port for authentication.

Authentication : In this field, you would need to choose an appropriate option for authentication. It provides you Two-way authentication factor. If you would like to authenticate yourself via Username and Password, then you would need to choose “Use Username and Password” from the drop down. You can also authenticate by Oauth 2.0 protocol which requires Client Id and Secret Key, for that you would need to choose “Use Oauth (Client ID and Secret Key)” from the drop down. You can easily get Client Id and Secret Key from respective SMTP Server Developers Section.

If you would like to receive a Test Email automatically, then you would need to Tick on <check box> “Yes, automatically send a Test Email upon clicking on Next Step Button to verify settings” and vice versa.

Once everything is being setup, you would need to click on “Next Step” button located at the bottom of the page to proceed further.

After clicking on Next Step button, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.

If you would like to send another Test Email, then you would need to click on “Send another Test Email” button.

Once you click on “Send Another Test Email” button, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.

Here is the description of each control on this page.

Test Email Address : In this field, you would need to provide a valid Email Address to which you would like to send the Test Email.

Subject : In this field, you would need to provide subject for Test Email.

Email Content : In this field, you would need to provide content for Test Email.

Once everything is being setup, then you would need to click on “Send Test Email” button.
