On the Mail Bank’s Navigation Panel, select Connectivity Test.
Once you click on “Connectivity Test”, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.
Outgoing Mail Server Hostname : In this field, you would need to provide the hostname of outgoing mail server from which you are going to send emails.
After providing hostname, you would need to click on “Begin Test” button.
Once you click on “Begin Test” button, you will be redirected to the following screen.
Following information will be displayed on the Connectivity Test Page :
Transport : Under this column, you would be able to view the server name that actually helps for sending emails.
Socket : Under this column, you would be able to view the mail server with available ports which can be used by the outgoing mail server.
Status : Under this column, you would be able to view “Status” of each server port. From here, you can ensure that the port which you are using for sending emails should be open. If the connection is close, then you can use the alternative ports.
