How to manage General Settings?

General Settings are divided into 3 sections.

  • Alert Setup
  • Error Messages
  • Other Settings

Alert Setup : The administrator can configure settings to get notified whenever an unusual exception happens on your site. It will send emails on a specified email address whenever a certain exception occurs.

Error Messages : The administrator can set various Error Messages that user will receive on certain events like for Maximum Login Attempts, for Blocked IP’s and Countries.

Other Settings : The Administrator can set whether to enable/disable Trackbacks, Comments, Visitor Logs Monitoring, Live Traffic Monitoring, Error Reporting and Automatic Plugin Updates.
