How to Manually clean WordPress Data?

On the Clean Up Booster’s Navigation Panel, select WordPress Data – Manual Clean Up.

Once you click on “Manual Clean Up”, you will be redirected to the following page as mentioned below.

You can choose the Type of Data you want to clean by clicking on the needed check boxes.

Bulk-Action : If you would like to clean Multiple Data together then you would need to tick appropriate check boxes and then choose “Empty” option from Bulk-Action drop-down.

Apply Button : After selecting “Empty” option, click on “Apply” button to clean/empty selected data all together.

Empty Button : This button is being used to clean/empty only the selected data from your WordPress Database.

Here is the detailed information of what each Data Type is.

Auto Drafts : WordPress automatically saves the Pages or Posts as a draft in the WordPress Database. This is called an “Auto Draft”. You could have multiple Auto Drafts that you will never publish and hence you can clean them.

Dashboard Transient Feed : “Transients Feed” in WordPress allow developers to store information in your WordPress Database with an expiration time.

Unapproved Comments : “Unapproved Comments” in WordPress are those comments which are still pending to be approved.

Orphan Comments Meta : “Orphan Comments Meta” in WordPress holds the miscellaneous bits of extra information of comment.

Orphan Posts Meta : “Orphan Posts Meta” in WordPress is the Meta Data belonging to posts which no longer exist.

Orphan Relationships : “Orphan Relationships” in WordPress holds the junk or obsolete Category and Tag.

Revisions : The WordPress “Revisions” system stores a record of each saved draft or published update.

Pingbacks : In WordPress, a “Pingback” is a type of comment that’s created when you link to another blog post where Ping backs are enabled.

Transient Options : “Transient Options” are like a basic cache system used by WordPress.

Trackbacks : In WordPress, “Trackbacks” are a way to notify legacy blog systems that you’ve linked to them.

Spam Comments : “Spam Comments” are the unwanted comments in the WordPress Database.

Trash Comments : “Trash Comments” are the comments which are stored in the WordPress Trash after deletion.

Drafts : “Drafts” are the New Post / Page created as Draft in WordPress.

Deleted Posts : “Deleted Posts” are the posts which are removed from the WordPress Database.

Duplicated Post Meta : “Duplicated Post Meta” are the duplicated values of the Posts stored in Posts Table in the WordPress Database.

oEmbed Caches in Post Meta : “oEmbed Caches in Post Meta” holds the data related to Embeddable Content in the WordPress Database.

Duplicated Comment Meta : “Duplicated Comment Meta” holds the information of Duplicate Comments in the Comments Table in the WordPress Database.

Orphan User Meta : “Orphan User Meta” holds the orphan data of Usermeta table in the WordPress Database.

Duplicated User Meta : “Duplicated User Meta” holds the information of Duplicate user meta data in the WordPress Database.

Orphaned Term Relationships : “Orphaned Term Relationships” hold the junk or obsolete term Category and Tag in the WordPress Database.

Unused Terms : “Unused Terms” holds the term data which is not used by WordPress.
